We first came to Nevis in 2000, staying at the Four Seasons for several days as part of a convention. Then we made the best decision we possibly could. When everyone else left from the dock of the Four Seasons back to St. Kitts and the airport, we left by the front and made our way to Hurricane Cove. We stayed at Williwah and found everything we could have ever asked for in the perfect vacation. Four perfect days. Biddy took us to town to do some food shopping. We slept at night with breeze coursing through. We woke every morning, stepping out of bed into the pool We spent every day, simply reveling in the beauty of this retreat. It was truly difficult to leave. Katherine is the most gracious hostess and helped to make everything perfect.

In August, I surprised my wife Lou for her birthday by telling her after dinner that we were leaving for Hurricane Cove at 7am the next morning. It took her all of twenty minutes to pack. Katherine was so helpful in arranging things. We came down and stayed at Pelican. What a beautiful spot. This time we spent some time visiting the island. Biddy does a terrific job as a tour guide. Lou loved shopping at the Island Hopper. Katherine was the best hostess. We toured the old sugar mills, spent time in town and "discovered" Lover's Beach. It is unimaginable that we could spend hours there and never see another soul! We saw the green monkeys.

Boobies's had the best lobster. And a wild time at Miss June's was had by all. She is a truly incredible person. Biddy showed us the hot springs. We loved watching the wildlife under the deck and the birds coasting by our windows.

No watches or clocks. Just the 6:00 pm NevisAir coming in from Puerto Rico to give us a clue as to what time it was.

A week hasn't passed since we left that we haven't talked about when we could return.

Hurrican Cove is truly the Treasure of the Carribean.
