While in Nevis we spent one night at Hurricane Cove. Biddy Weekes picked us up at the ferry terminal and drove us to the hotel. He is a local taxi driver and was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Upon arrival at the resort we were greeted by Kathryn Wyatt, the resident Manager. We were shown to our a one bedroom called \\\"Banana\\\". It had a beautiful view of St. Kitts, large bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and deck. Our bed was comfortable with a ceiling fan and mosquito net. We had one of the best nights sleep there! You don\\\'t need airconditioning as the windows are left open at night and their is always a tradewind blowing. The sounds of the crickets and tree frogs put you to sleep.
Enjoyed a midnight swim in their pool and morning walk down to Oualie Beach Resort located next door. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast or dinner at Oualie Beach Resort.
Hurricane Cove is perfect for honeymooners and independant travellers, bu not recommended for people who have trouble climbing stairs.
I highly recommend Hurricane Cove.
